THE IMPORTANCE OF PATIENCE

Not everyone is born with a silver spoon in the mouth. Some were born lucky, wealthy from high profiled families. Some were born average in terms of economic stability. Few were born if not poor, not the favored.

It is in this aspect of life that one must be patient and have perseverance in order to achieve a brighter future. Doors of opportunities will be experienced if we stretch our hands, work and have patience. Let us learn to wait for the efforts exerted. In due time, the sacrifices, the hard work, perseverance and patience will be harvested into joy and success.

As teachers, patience is very much important. Everyday dealing with these young minds, particularly the elementary pupils, PATIENCE is really essential.

Teaching is a noble profession. If the profession is not our choice, then find the job we tend to love and enjoy. As teachers, let us not sacrifice our feeling of satisfaction in performing our obligation as mentors of the young minds. Let us follow the best character traits of a teacher.

Parents entrust their children to the school. They have the feeling the learning institution is the second home of their children and the teachers as the second parents. This thought must be taken seriously by the teachers. Not everybody is privileged to be a teacher, so we are already one among the privileged, then treat it as a servant of God.

It is likewise advised that, if teaching is a burden to a teacher, then quit in the system. We will not be fruitful in the profession but rather will have a life full of misery on the teacher much more on the learners.

Teachers must be an inspiration, an encourager, a confidant, a disciplinarian, a mentor and a parent full of love and concern to her/his pupils/students. To be an effective and an efficient servant in the teaching field, have a heart full of PATIENCE.
