An­ge­les’Ka­pam­pan­gan pop song fes­ti­val 2018 en­tries all set

AN­GE­LES CITY- All ten en­tries for this city’s most awaited Ka­pam­pan­gan Pop Song Fes­ti­val (KPSF) are set for the com­pe­ti­tion’s grand fi­nal s.

An exclusive pre­view of all the com­po­si­tions was held re­cently with An­ge­les City Her­itage, Cul­ture and Arts Of­fi­cer Joy Cruz, Cul­ture and Arts Coun­cil of An­ge­les Ex­ec­u­tive Di­rec­tor Wing Pin­gol, An­ge­les Univer­sity Foun­da­tion (AUF) Pres­i­dent Dr. Joseph Em­manuel An­ge­les, AUF Cen­ter for Cul­ture and the Arts (AUF-CCA) Di­rec­tor Gildo “Boron” Gar­cia Jr., and all the com­posers of the songs.

An­ge­les con­grat­u­lated all the par­tic­i­pants for com­ing up with beau­ti­ful com­po­si­tions. He also ex­pressed his ex­cite­ment and vowed to give his one hun­dred per­cent sup­port to the event.

On the other hand, Cruz said that the cour­tesy visit and gen­eral assem­bly was in­tended to con­sum­mate ev­ery­thing for the sched­uled com­pe­ti­tions.

Gar­cia for­mally pre­sented all the songs of the ten fi­nal­ists to give ev­ery­one an idea on how the en­tries were ar­ranged and recorded through the help of Filipino mu­sic ge­nius and com­poser, Vehnee Saturno.

All en­tries are set to be heard in var­i­ous oc­ca­sions and events in and around An­ge­les City. The or­der of pre­sen­ta­tion, sched­uled in­ter­views, pro­mo­tions and guest­ing were also fi­nal­ized dur­ing the call.

Huel­gas urged his fel­low na­tional ath­letes to serve as in­spi­ra­tion to the youth and to those look­ing up to their dreams. “To all our na­tional ath­letes, I wish you guys that you give your very best in or­der for this event to cre­ate an im­pact not only to ath­letes but to ev­ery­body here in the Philip­pines and in South­east Asia that we can make a dif­fer­ence,” he stressed.

Huel­gas is the first Filipino ath­lete to win the Gold medal in the SEA games triathlon in 2015 in Sin­ga­pore and suc­cess­fully de­fend­ing his ti­tle in the fol­low­ing meet in 2017 in Malaysia.

The 30th SEA Games will be held from Novem­ber 30De­cem­ber 11, 2019. A to­tal of 9,840 ath­letes from 11 coun­tries will com­pete in 529 events of 56 sports. There are 47 venues in 3 com­pe­ti­tion hubs namely Clark, Su­bic and Metro Manila.

It car­ries the theme “We Win as One” which en­cap­su­lates unity, to­geth­er­ness, and sin­gu­lar­ity of pur­pose and the de­sire to work to­gether in a di­verse com­mu­nity to achieve peace, progress and in­clu­siv­ity.
