Every school is a home where every child begins to dream, builds aspiration and embarks to discover their great potential, each one strives to make it a reality and these can only happen through great EDUCATION.
Every school is a home that guarantees administration providing an environment conducive for learning where everyone is safe guarded and provided with a curriculum that addresses every child’s learning needs as well as those of the community and society. It should use strategies that are suited to learner’s age, abilities and ways of learning. It has to impart quality learning and influence children to participate in school and community. Learners are encouraged to decide and think for themselves, inquire, formulate and express opinions.
This home should always be gender sensitive and not discriminating. Treatment should always be equal regardless of gender, status, cultural origin or religious belief. Indeed, it doesn’t stereotype on the basis of difference.
Every school should also emphasize the holistic development of a learner through academics, sports, arts, technical-vocational training and civic involvement, furthermore, enriching the core values of department of education - maka-diyos, maka-tao, makakalikasan at makabansa.
Education is free and compulsory, affordable and accessible, especially to families and children at risk. Every school must empower education for it helps a person by opening up new opportunities. It helps one form and fortify new ideas and build upon them to give back to the world. It’s the key to unlocking great potentials.
It has to offer a life-long learning, an education just within one’s grasp, in a school with conducive environment, competent teachers, and various programs and projects for holistic development.
It must have a silver lining to transform every student to become leaders in building economically progressive and morally responsive nation and BE the partner of the people in building their dreams and in pursuing a bright future.
