THE GUIDING PRINCIPLES OF A LEADER

The utmost or best character trait of a leader is that he or she is a good follower. There are many quotes about leadership or a leader. “To be a good leader, be a good follower”. Follow today, LEAD later, these are just some best quotes of a leader. Before someone is placed in the position as a leader, she or he was recommended because of his/ her intense in the skills of leadership.

A good leader is STRONG and COURAGEOUS. There are many challenges along the way. As a leader, be brave enough to passed the trials, firm in his/ her decisions and humble in dealing with the employees.

Before becoming a leader, be submissive to those in authority. This is what a leader expects to the subordinates when his turn comes. Following God’s instructions must be the priority of a leader to have a successful pattern in leadership. When a leader follow these instructions, he is on his right track and everything goes smooth.

A leader meditates most of the time. Each day is a blessed day for everyone. As the day starts, the blessings of the Lord shower day in until day out. How do we do our tasks each day, how we deal with those who need our help, how do we respond to the less fortunate. These are just some getures we can do after meditations.

Have we exerted our best efforts in the name of leadership/ service to our fellows? Let us always be reminded of the quote “Follow today, Lead tomorrow”.
