THE BEAUTY OF MATHEMATICS
Most of the teachers have problems in teaching mathematics not because they do not know the concepts but nonetheless is for the students who don’t like numbers. The natures of their problems vary. Some students can master basic facts but can’t do higher mathematics. Some can do higher math but can’t master basics. Some can follow math procedures one day but are unable to follow them the next day. Others may perform mathematical algorithms well in one situation but can’t apply them to new situations. Math disabilities can be very frustrating due to the complexity and variety of problems. This problem is what the teacher takes challenges of everyday teaching and learning process.
Teachers who are eager to impart the importance of math in the lives of every learner, they need to teach them in using different strategies so that the complicated concepts become simple and easy to understand for them. As we all know the concepts of mathematics doesn’t change what we have learned in for several years it is the same what the teachers wants to teach nowadays in our students. The beauty of learning mathematics is that if you know or master the basics you can understand the different competencies in math. The only way to learn mathematics is that there is a constant practice to know what will be your errors and try to find the answer for it. Sometimes, the only problem that the learners have difficulty in understanding math it’s because of lack of interest and laziness.
If the teachers and students aim to see the beauty of math there is no limit that they can learn and apply it in the different field of our lives because mathematics is everywhere. Let the learners do or practice solving, analyzing and discover the different concepts of math because by doing they appreciate the beauty in learning mathematics.
