ANGELESC CITY---Mayoralty aspirant Vice-Mayor Bryan Matthew Nepomuceno and vice-mayoral candidate Councilor Edu Pamintuan on Thursday met with BB International Leisure and Resort Development, Corp. President Irineo “Bong” Alvaro to express their intention of working on development programs for Angeles City and Clark Freeport.
Alvaro, chief of the multinational firm behind the five-star Midori Clark Hotel and Casino inside Clark Freeport Zone, is also the chairman of the Clark Investors and Locators Association (CILA).
Nepomuceno, official candidate of the Abe Kapampangan part in the May 2019 local elections, said he intends to work closely with Alvaro, particularly helping address pressing concerns of business operators inside Clark Freeport and the impact of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law on CILA members.
Nepomuceno added that they would also look into ways of increasing foreign tourist arrivals at Clark International Airport and how to generate more job opportunities for residents of Angeles City.
