Ex­ecs mull work­ing on pro­grams for AC

ANGELESC CITY---May­oralty as­pi­rant Vice-Mayor Bryan Matthew Ne­po­mu­ceno and vice-may­oral can­di­date Coun­cilor Edu Pam­intuan on Thurs­day met with BB In­ter­na­tional Leisure and Re­sort De­vel­op­ment, Corp. Pres­i­dent Iri­neo “Bong” Al­varo to ex­press their in­ten­tion of work­ing on de­vel­op­ment pro­grams for An­ge­les City and Clark Freeport.

Al­varo, chief of the multi­na­tional firm be­hind the five-star Mi­dori Clark Ho­tel and Casino in­side Clark Freeport Zone, is also the chair­man of the Clark In­vestors and Lo­ca­tors Association (CILA).

Ne­po­mu­ceno, of­fi­cial can­di­date of the Abe Ka­pam­pan­gan part in the May 2019 lo­cal elec­tions, said he in­tends to work closely with Al­varo, par­tic­u­larly help­ing ad­dress press­ing con­cerns of busi­ness op­er­a­tors in­side Clark Freeport and the im­pact of the Tax Re­form for Ac­cel­er­a­tion and In­clu­sion (TRAIN) Law on CILA mem­bers.

Ne­po­mu­ceno added that they would also look into ways of in­creas­ing for­eign tourist ar­rivals at Clark In­ter­na­tional Air­port and how to gen­er­ate more job op­por­tu­ni­ties for res­i­dents of An­ge­les City.
