Budget-friendly dates for Valentine’s Day

- BY NICOLE RENEE DAVID Sun.Star Staff Reporter

Thinking about where to spend Valentine’s Day with your significant other can be a tweak into the brain sometimes, since you always have to consider their preferences, and a budget to keep in mind of.

But surely, whatever your plans are, your partner will be alright with it as long as you know you can make him or her special for that one day you both celebrate every year.

No matter, here are some suggested budget-friendly dates that you can contemplate upon:

1. Movie marathon

Sure, a movie marathon is very common these days, but it makes you and your partner have an intimate time together by having a simple movie marathon with some newly bought junk food on the side.

2. Dining at a food park

Even though you’re on a fixed budget, you may still fill your stomachs with good food and enjoy live concerts as well at a food park without breaking the bank. 4. Bonding with your or your partner’s family Letting yourself and your partner bond with each other’s family will orient yourselves better to be close to them.

5. Visiting a church

This choice of a date would immediately put you on a side wherein your partner would think of you as a God-fearing and a familyoriented person. This would give proof to you that your partner can live with you without any demands.

Just because dates would make you spend money doesn’t mean you’d spend big. Bonding with your loved one is what matters the most and as long as you spend quality time together, it would always count as a date.
