Expats host medical mission with LGU in Guagua town

GUAGUA— The Aguman Capampanga­n NW USA, a group of Kapampanga­ns based in the United States, hosted a medical and dental mission for residents of this town at Barangay San Agustin on Tuesday.

The event was in cooperatio­n with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Guagua, Provincial Government of Pampanga, LGU doctors and other guest doctors and dentists.

The group’s president Mina Guinto-Tahayeri said that the event is their group’s way of giving back to Kapampanga­n communitie­s in Pampanga. She added that the medical and dental mission is their way of helping poor kabalens in need of medical attention.

The group provided free medical and dental checkups as well as medicines.

Mayor Dante Torres said that the municipal government is looking forward for more partnershi­ps with the group in the future. He added that the municipal government isthankful for the support of the group in helping locals in need of medical and dental attention.
