The 1987 Constitution declares:
The State recognizes the vital role of the youth in nation building and shall promote and protect their physical, moral, spiritual, intellectual, and social well being in order to accomplish this, the Constitution obligates the State to” give priority to education, science and technology, arts and culture. The State must therefore-Establish ,maintain and support a complete, adequate and integrated system, of education relevant to the needs of the people and society.
The recent news of employing Chinese Nationals as carpenters in the high rise building of metropolis contradict to the dictum of our present Constitution that the State should establish, maintain and support a complete , adequate, and integrated system of education relevant to the needs of people and society.
