Fire hits auto-shop along Edsa
A FIRE hit an auto-shop along Edsa in Mandaluyong City on Monday, February 18.
Senior Fire Officer 3 Edgardo del Pilar, from the Bureau of Fire Protection Mandaluyong, said the fire, which has reached second alarm, started around 11:14 a.m.
He said fire out was declared around 12:38 p.m. No injury was reported but among those burned were high-end cars, including the one owned by reelectionist Senator JV Ejercito.
“I feel sad, my car for the past 10 years, my Toyota Sequioa burned in the fire at Autoplus Car Center this morning. Feeling sentimental because we’ve been through so many battles and it was my most reliable, not to mention ‘lucky’car. Will be missing this car,” Ejercito said in a post.
