“Progress re­quires peace and or­der. In other words, po­lice. For 28 years and more, you have been part of our mis­sion in cre­at­ing a safe, se­cured and pro­gres­sive San Fer­nando and Pam­panga,” Laus said as he spoke be­fore lo­cal po­lice­men.

As Chair­man Emer­i­tus of Pam­panga Cham­ber of Com­merce and In­dus­try, Inc., Laus also noted of the trust and con­fi­dence of the pri­vate sec­tor in do­ing busi­ness in the prov­ince due to strict law en­force­ment and peace and or­der in the area.

“As a mem­ber of the pri­vate and busi­ness sec­tor, I can attest to our good re­la­tion­ship with the po­lice for the many years of serv­ing and pro­tect­ing the com­mu­nity. I can per­son­ally say that they are de­serv­ing of our trust and con­fi­dence,” he said.

Laus also took the op­por­tu­nity to ex­press his deep­est grat­i­tude to the Philip­pine Na­tional Po­lice for their con­tri­bu­tion in the de­vel­op­ment of Pam­panga through the faith­ful per­for­mance of their duty of serv­ing and pro­tect­ing the Ka­pam­pan­gan com­mu­nity.

“We owe you a deep sense of grat­i­tude that we can never re­pay. Say­ing thank you will never be enough but we know that the com­mu­nity is grate­ful to the whole po­lice, and we are one with you in cel­e­brat­ing your found­ing an­niver­sary,”he said.
