Delta eyes provincial dialysis center in Pampanga
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda is eyeing to put up a provincial dialysis center which would cater the needs of patients undergoing dialysis treatment once elected governor in the May 2019 mid-term elect i ons.
The vice-governor bared this during the recent assembly of 1,500 dialysis and cancer patients at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center here.
The vice-governor is eyeing the center for more intensified monitoring and continuous medication of patients.
“This will surely benefit Kapampangan patients and their families in terms of regular check-ups, dialysis and chemotherapy sessions and will be more convenient in terms of hassle-free travel time,” he said.
Although this is still a future plan, the provincial government has been sending medical and financial aid to these patients since 2010.
Patients have been given assorted groceries, allowances and provided regular check-ups at the 11 public hospitals supervised by the Capitol, Provincial Health Office led by Dr. Mar Jaochico, Provincial Social Welfare and Development Of- fice led by Elizabeth Baybayan, the Provincial Disaster Risk
