Each child is entitled to avail theright to free education. The government exhausts efforts to provide the necessary skills and learnings that it can offer in producing reliable and competent leaders for the future. The launching of numerous educational programs and projects to boost the competency of the schoolsin delivering quality and accessible education are now in operation.
The PantawidPamilyang Pilipino Program(4Ps) was launched primarily to provide financial aid for the educational needs of those children belonging to indigentfamilies.Scholarship Grants were also given to less fortunate but deserving students while the School Based Feeding Program (SBFP) continuously resolvescases of malnutrition in public schools.
Developing countries continue to experience difficulty in addressing the effects of illiteracy specially in remote areas. Some parentsare often occupied by their daily labor and were unable to spend time for the education of their children, while few students were forced to help their parents with their work in the field in earning a living.
Several interventions were made to educate communities, however such interferences lit only during the implementation of the initial steps but gradually depleting at the end of the program due to lack of participations from the househol ds.
The participation of a family being a member of the society is very vital to fully implement the plans for community development specially in the field of education. Having educated residents may produce peaceful society and a strong workforce to uplift the status of living .
