“The sta­tus is just a pre­cau­tion and I be­lieve that peace and unity will pre­vail in our mu­nic­i­pal­ity dur­ing and even after the elec­tions,” Nu­com said in an ex­clu­sive in­ter­view with Sun.Star Pam­panga.

Nu­com also as­sured the vot­ing pub­lic that all can­di­dates have com­mit­ted to par­tic­i­pate in hon­est and clean elec­tions dur­ing the peace covenant sign­ing ini­ti­ated by the lo­cal po­lice and Com­elec.

Dur­ing the said event, Nu­com said that all can­di­dates were united in the com­mon goal of par­tic­i­pat­ing in peace­ful and or­derly cam­paigns and elec­tion ac­tiv­i­ties for the ben­e­fit of the vot­ing pub­lic.

“So far, all of us can­di­dates have been com­pli­ant with our com­mit­ment dur­ing the peace covenant sign­ing and I am hope­ful that we will re­main as one es­pe­cially that the cam­paign pe­riod is set to of­fi­cially start soon,” he noted.
