THE JOY OF BEING AN ICT TEACHER

There is one teacher that can develop more than ten hands, equip hundreds of knowledge and skills, and deliver thousands of tasks and works to tons of students in the new millennia. Within two cubes joggling different functions, the monitor and the CPU with the aid of keyboard and mouse, the ICT teacher transforms information into actions. From those actions are the lessons for the students of the new era.

We are taught about the English language through our English teachers. We are able to solve mathematical problems with the help of Math teachers. We were also eligible of knowing the secrets of the world through Science teachers, and to effectively speak and express ourselves in our national language, the Filipino, from our Filipino Teachers. However, we are in the process of vast development in the field of technology. Being unable to at least use a computer nowadays is a kind of illiteracy that is almost tantamount to a unique form of disability.

Being an ICT teacher is a gift denied to many. They are the explorers of the wonders of the technology to the students. They are the authors of the digital knowledge, and the professors of millennial skills. They are the experts in the different applications that are really needed. They are the contributors who constantly aim technology-friendly world. They are the creators of digital works and arts. The ICT teachers are reasons why students are engaged and advanced to the trends of technology.
