TECHNICAL VOCATIONAL TRACK/ HOME ECONOMICS STRAND AND CAREERS

This strand means to give students work prepared abilities that can help them in finding jobs. It focuses on enhancing skills in building livelihood projects that can be done at home.
If the students have a plan in continuing in college after this strand, they can take up degrees in Hospitality and Tourism Management, Culinary Arts, Nutrition, or Interior Design.
This Home Economics strand career not only prepared women for motherhood and home making but also for a broad spectrum of careers in public and private education business, dietetics, social science, journalism and institutional management.
This Home Economics Strand Component is to equip the students with the basic knowledge, skills, proper attitude and values towards work. It is intended provide classroom and laboratory experience that will enable the students to gain understanding and acquire competencies in various economic activities as they relate to the home economics curriculum map.
