When we think of our teachers, what comes into our mind? Who is that teacher that you won’t ever forget? How did he affect your life?

Many people could inspire and encourage us to achieve greatness and be able to live our lives to the fullest. These people are what we call models. Models could be our parents, siblings and friends, but some of the most influential life changing models are teachers.

In the eyes of a child, a teacher is someone who teaches him how to read, write and count. As the child grows and matures, he already sees his teacher as someone who guides and give comforting advises when he needs. As time goes by, a teacher is already being look-up to by many students as their mentor. Someone they wanted to be in the future.

Teachers do not only intend to teach the academics. Much to their desire is to help every life entrusted to them by imparting some of life’s important lessons. And that is not only to be knowledgeable and well-equip in subjects taught in school but much to how they live a life full of hopes and dreams.

Teachers are like fountains of experience. They have been through many challenges and struggles in life that students are going through, strengthened by life’s spices put them in a position to pass along lessons, not only regarding subject matter, but more so lessons in life.

And, that what makes them heroes in the lives of many students.
