Mush­room and food pro­cess­ing equip­ment were pro­vided to a univer­sity and co­op­er­a­tive in Nueva Ecija amount­ing to P2.9 mil­lion.

Sewing ma­chines and pot­tery equip­ment were also pro­vided to co­op­er­a­tives in Sto. To­mas and Apalit, Pam­panga, while the lo­cal gov­ern­ment of San Nar­ciso, Zam­bales re­ceived SSF equip­ment for ce­ramic pot­tery mak­ing.

An­other SSF project on Honey­bee pro­cess­ing, which ben­e­fit­ted indige­nous peo­ple in Zam­bales, was also funded un­der the pro­gram.

Aside from these pro­jects, ad­di­tional equip­ment were also pro­vided for the up­grade of Fab­ri­ca­tion Lab­o­ra­to­ries (FabLabs) at the Don Hono­rio Ven­tura State Univer­sity in Ba­color, Pam­panga and at the Philip­pine Science High School–Cen­tral Lu­zon Cam­pus in Clark Freeport, Pam­panga with a to­tal amount of P10.02 mil­lion.

The Fablabs were de­signed to pro­vide MSMEs with modern three-di­men­sion prototypes they can use in their pro­duc­tion.---War­ren
