YES TO POSITIVITY, NO TO NEGATIVE VIBES

-

BLESILDA D. NAJERA

There are a lot of people whom we mingle with that are pessimists, those who always think undesirably. They can easily connect anybody’s deeds with negativity as if they are so jealous or bitter with them. Negativity covers not only what a person thinks but moreover indicates more of this in his or her attitude in life. They are individuals who are considered doubters and affect not only their personal life but the life of other people and eventually lead to undesirable connection socially.

As educators, we are to imbibe positivity in our system so that it would be easy for us to share it with our students. I believe that there is one valuable thing that would allow us to easily take in positivity and that is to surround ourselves with positive people. Those that can genuinely show concern to us, those whom we can work easily with, those that can assist us with a smile, those whom we can trust with our life. This may sound too good to be true but there are people that we can lean on anytime without hesitations or without having second thoughts.

Our society needs individuals who possess positivity that is worthy to imitate and the people that surround them will hopefully be infected with that kind of attitude and eventually the general public will boost with good vibes.

Focusing on the good things will surely help this world that we dwell in together with our loved ones a beautiful place to live in. But we cannot just ignore negativity for it is also prowling around us. Reality bites. We must accept that there is negativity and the best thing that we need to do is act on it. Making sure that the light will overcome the darkness. In order to do this, we have to be optimistic and always look on the positive side even when difficulty comes in our way.
