Sen­a­to­rial bet wants cul­tural unity

CANDABA - Sen­a­to­rial can­di­date Za­jid “Dong” Man­gu­da­datu wants to break the bar­rier di­vid­ing the Catholic and Mus­lim peo­ple, and pro­mote cul­tural unity as one Filipino na­tion inst ead .

Dur­ing the visit of Man­gu­da­datu’s wife Geral­dine in this town re­cently, she shared the for­mer’s P.E.A.C.E. ad­vo­cacy which stands for Pros­per­ity, Ed­u­ca­tion, Agri­cul­ture, Cul­tural Unity and Energy.

Geral­dine said that his husband, who is a long-time leader in Min­danao, sees cul­tural unity as a key el­e­ment in bring­ing true and in­clu­sive progress to the Filipino na­tion.

She stressed that if cul­tural unity reign in the coun­try, it will al­low the coun­try to quickly ad­vance to­wards a bet­ter fu­ture as peo­ple unite re­gard­less of race, be­liefs and lan­guage.
