Teacher is one of the best pro­fes­sion that we have in our coun­try, be­ing a teacher is not that easy, there are cer­tain cri­te­ria and skills for you to be­come an ef­fec­tive teacher. Man­ag­ing a class­room with young peo­ple re­quired pa­tience, com­mit­ment, ded­i­ca­tion and love for work. Teach­ing is a pro­fes­sion for those who want to help pupils to reach their po­ten­tials and skills to achieve their goals in life.

What are the skills needed in order to be­come an ef­fec­tive teacher? As teacher you should have strong com­mu­ni­ca­tion skill, so that you can ex­plain and de­liver the les­son very well with your learn­ers with deeply un­der­stand­ing. As teacher also you should mas­ter the sub­ject mat­ter given to you, if you are an ele­men­tary teacher you should know the con­tent mas­tery in the dif­fer­ent learn­ing ar­eas es­pe­cially the as­signed sub­ject given to you.

As 21st cen­tury teacher, cre­ativ­ity and be­ing re­source­ful teacher is also im­por­tant to be­come an ef­fec­tive teacher, as a school be­come more tech­no­log­i­cally ad­vanced, teach­ers also need ba­sic tech­no­log­i­cal skills in man­ag­ing class­room learn­ing by the use of tech­nol­ogy. Teacher should be flex­i­ble to adapt the chang­ing ad­vance­ment in the field of ed­u­ca­tion. Teacher should be a life­long learner and take ad­van­tage of the many pro­fes­sional de­vel­op­ment op­por­tu­ni­ties that are avail­able for them to ex­plore their teach­ing strate­gies and skills that may ap­ply in their pro­fes­sion as a teacher.
