Wikipedia’s def­i­ni­tion on Team build­ing is a col­lec­tive term for var­i­ous types of ac­tiv­i­ties used to en­hance so­cial re­la­tions and de­fine roles within teams, of­ten in­volv­ing col­lab­o­ra­tive tasks.

Why it is there’s a need for a com­pany or in­sti­tu­tion to have an ac­tiv­ity like TEAM­BUILD­ING?

Is it re­ally ben­e­fi­cial to the em­ploy­ees and to the com­pany as well? Team­build­ing is ef­fec­tive if it mo­ti­vates the em­ploy­ees to per­form bet­ter in work. It de­ter­mines if the in­di­vid­u­als can work as a group in at­tain­ing or achiev­ing goals.

Team-Build­ing is a term that cre­ates noise in the so­ci­ety were com­pa­nies be­came so in­ter­ested to do the dif­fer­ent ac­tiv­i­ties be­ing of­fered by cer­tain com­pa­nies. It is en­gag­ing ev­ery­one on cer­tain task that are not the usual part or rou­tine on their work. This is to strengthen their work­ing re­la­tion­ship an as team they need to ex­ert ex­tra ef­fort for the suc­cess of their task that can be ap­plied in their work place.

Nowa­days more com­pa­nies are en­gag­ing in team build­ing and they in­cor­po­rate it as one of their strate­gies in bring­ing out the best in their em­ploy­ees – the ca­ma­raderie it brings, how lead­er­ship po­ten­tials are be­ing dis­cov­ered through rigid ac­tiv­i­ties, the fun and ex­cite­ment boost one’s en­ergy to go through the chal­lenges of life, as in­di­vid­ual learns to ad­just on their part yet they carry it for the ben­e­fit of all, that ev­ery in­di­vid­ual be­comes a bless­ing to the work­place.
