Wikipedia’s definition on Team building is a collective term for various types of activities used to enhance social relations and define roles within teams, often involving collaborative tasks.
Why it is there’s a need for a company or institution to have an activity like TEAMBUILDING?
Is it really beneficial to the employees and to the company as well? Teambuilding is effective if it motivates the employees to perform better in work. It determines if the individuals can work as a group in attaining or achieving goals.
Team-Building is a term that creates noise in the society were companies became so interested to do the different activities being offered by certain companies. It is engaging everyone on certain task that are not the usual part or routine on their work. This is to strengthen their working relationship an as team they need to exert extra effort for the success of their task that can be applied in their work place.
Nowadays more companies are engaging in team building and they incorporate it as one of their strategies in bringing out the best in their employees – the camaraderie it brings, how leadership potentials are being discovered through rigid activities, the fun and excitement boost one’s energy to go through the challenges of life, as individual learns to adjust on their part yet they carry it for the benefit of all, that every individual becomes a blessing to the workplace.
