Modern...advanced...contemporary... digital natives

We are living in the modern days because technology is everywhere. It is a part of our everyday lives. School children easily get bored with different stuff especially activities done inside the classroom. Teachers must think of several ways to arouse the interest of our learners to promote learning. Since our school children nowadays are interested in the use of technology, teachers must incorporate ICT with their lessons. We all know that our learners are excited to go to school if they see something new every day. We should take advantage of the modernization. Let us not think that technology is a hindrance in the teaching and learning process but a helpful tool in achieving our goals. Learners are enjoying while they are learning . The use of technology in instruction provides learning experience and gives pupils a chance to engage in learning. We are hitting two birds in one stone here. Also, we can use technology in giving reinforcements to pupils at home.

As teachers, we should learn to dance to the tune of our school children without sacrificing the standards of the teaching and learning process. We should find ways to dance with them and taking advantage of the technology is one of the solutions.
