Sun.Star Pampanga - - PERSPECTIVE! - Jovylene B. Cortez --oo0oo--

Education is one of the most important factors in life that needs to be pursued by every individual; it is through education where we can achieve many good things in life. Higher level of education helps people in earning social and family respect and unique recognition. It is vital for one’s social and academic well- being. It is a survival tool to improve ourselves and perform better in the society.

Tertiary education is a right of every individual. This level aims to elevate the capacity and high thinking ability of every Filipino that will enable them to contribute primarily in general to the economic growth of our country. Hence, the competitive skills of every individual would be a legacy to all generations for it will sustain the amended rules and policies prepared.

REPUBLIC ACT No. 10931 known as the "Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act”, seeks to protect and promote the rights of all students to quality education at all levels. With this law, free education is in our hands. It means more opportunities that we can grab and more dreams that can be granted. Free tertiary education is a highly beneficial most especially for those less fortunate individual who cannot afford to pursue higher education but deserving, intelligent and capable for tertiary education.
