They’re also Humans!

A Famous saying says that “Teamwork makes the dream works.” Yet, there are

times that some people can’t help but rely on someone, and it seems like they

don’t know their limits in making requests on others.

A School Administrative Assistant or ADAS is someone who is tasked to do

clerical works for the school. They make reports on almost everything that concerns the school except teaching students. They also need to make regular reports about

the finances and budget of the school. They also make, prepare and follow-up

reports for the teachers and the school.

It’s not easy. For they are doing all these things on a regular basis. And there

is an urgency on beating and meeting deadlines. With these facts, they are indeed busy with these tons of paperworks. But when salaries were late, or there are

deductions, or undeducted loans that suddenly pops-up in their payslips, the people that will suffer are the ADASs. They are the ones who will answer the queries of

these people and most likely they will also be the one to make an action for these.

When reports are late, or there are pertinent papers that were submitted to the DepEd offices, and it wasn’t yet given back, the ADAS are also the ones that will

be bombarded with queries and questions from the teachers.

ADASs are of great help to the teachers and to the school. But, they are

HUMANS who also get sick, commit errors and have emotions and feelings that

can also be hurt easily. They are not robots. Bear in mind that they are humans and we must also accept and forgive them if there are times that they made

mistakes.
