School Heads' Attitudes Towards Work: Its Contributi­on to Teachers' Perception on Work

School heads play a vital role in the management of the entire school’s physical environmen­t, curriculum and instructio­n as well as on the human resources. Thus, attitude towards work is greatly involved in performing their function in the school where they serve.

Apparently, school heads' attitude towards work influences greatly teachers that he/she is dealing with every day. School heads leadership and management are most important aspects that they perform in their workplace.

As a leader, they should have the ability or potential to inspire people to work at their best by setting a good example to the people he/she is working with. This ability is very important to be possessed because this could be his/her attribute to inspire people to work at their best and manage the school well. Remarkably, when people are inspired on their work, their innate passion for work is kindled by the leader, the schoolchil­dren will be benefited greatly and the entire school as well.

In terms of management, school heads' attitudes is also connected on their calibre on work.

As they say, “attitudes over work” is necessary in performing your task/s. If you have the right attitude towards work, then you will have a right and good management. Management is all about putting things in order and getting all things done. Then, if you are a good manager, you can top right person to work on specific task/ s and the work will be done easily and all accomplish­ed.

As a whole, school heads' attitudes towards work can change teachers' perception on work. This is just all about the “right attitude” towards everything you do and “right attitude” on the people you are dealing with. ATTITUDE MATTERS MOST!
