Ma. Luningning B. Manguerra

When you are still studying or currently you are a student, surely you have your own favorite teacher. A teacher that you will never forget because maybe he/she helps you to make your assignments. A teacher who always gives advices for you to be an active student. He/ She may be your History, Math or a Science teacher.

But then, a teacher does not only exist inside the school because a teacher can be your friend, classmate or even a stranger. Your friend that can give you advices, your classmate that can help you to solve some Math problems and even a stranger that you've just met but can leave lessons that marked in your heart. But if there is only one in this world that can be your teacher aside from the licensed teachers you have in school, definitely that is your mother.

Do you agree that your mother is your first teacher?

Your mother read you a sitories when you are still in her womb. After you were born she taught you how to crawl, walk, and speak. She also taught you how to get dressed and stand when you stumble. She can be a doctor when you are sick and she can be a clown when you are sad. She can do multi-tasking for you.

Therefore, your mother is your first and best teacher because she will never get tired to answer your non-sense questions and to teach you a lesson about life and death that may help you grow. She will never stop talking until you understand clearly what she is saying. Yes, she is your teacher, your friend, your guidance counselor, but most especially she is your mother, your best teacher in the whole world.
