Tom Rodriguez's digital drawings aids drivers, vendors and workers

According to tom's post on his social media account, he still fulfill these dreams.

Tom has a lot of digital drawings, he calls them "random sketches" but filled with details.

At times the actor turns these digital drawings into 2D animation.

Aside from these digital drawings

During quarantine, Marco Gallo gets extra income from baking and delivering Oreo Box Cakes. He says, "The motto of my small business is 'food made with l ove.'"

He started his online food business as a way of generating extra income and keeping himself busy, while Metro Manila continues to be under General Community Quarantine (GCQ).

"Everything started when I was sitting on my couch, and I was really bored because I think I've done everything I could during this quarantine.

Marco now creates and sells Oreo Box Cakes.

How did he come up with the idea for his online food business?

He reveals, "I was chatting with a friend and we started thinking to make cakes just out of fun and not as a business.

"That's one of the reasons why it's really cheap, because I didn't want to make money out of it. I just wanted to have a hobby for the meantime!"

Marco's mother taught him how to make the Oreo Box Cake, which costs PHP250. and animations, Tom also do various sculptures.

This quarantine period, Tom choses to use his creativity and craftsmans­hip to aid with the financial crisis of some drivers, street vendors, and constructi­on workers.

When business was just starting, it would take Marco almost an hour to make one cake. But when orders started coming in, Marco got used to creating the cake and is now able to make four cakes in half an hour. He sells 15 to 20 cakes per day. "It's a profitable business, but you really need good marketing and promotion," the Filipino-Italian actor says.

Clients who have tried his Oreo Box Cake attest that it is truly delici ous.

One of Marco's friends reveals that Marco once worked as a pizza delivery guy when he was still living in I t al y.

Today, he is so hands-on with his business that he personally delivers the cakes to his customers.

How do his clients react when they see him delivering their orders? Marco says, "Natutuwa naman sila. "Usually they wouldn't expect it, but I'm trying to do something different because the motto of my small business is 'food made with l ove.' the actor drew the portraits of those people who donated P500 in the Facebook groups of SuperTsupe­r, # PasokMgaSu­ki, and Tulong sa Constructi­on Worker since April 12 up to 17, 2020..

On the other hand, Tom's girlfriend Carla Abellana is all out in supporting him with his relief efforts.

According to Carla who lives with Tom, she personally witness all his efforts to help.other people.

"Nagagawa parin niyang gumising ng maaga kahit puyat siya dahil dito, maghugas ng mga pinggan, magpakain ng mga aso, magwalis, mag-mop, mag-sort ng basura at tapon ng basura, maglinis ng mga wiwi at poopoo ng mga aso, mag-grocery run, atpb. kahit mahigit isang daang larawan ang kailangan niyang tapusin. Na walang bayad yan, ha.

"Akala ng marami nagbayad sila kay Tom para gawin ang larawan nila. Hindi po.

"Ang panggastos po ng mga tsuper at street vendors ang binayaran niyo po. Hindi po ang larawan niyo na gawa ni Tom.

The 19-year-old actor is also thankful to his fellow riders, who help him

"Libre niya pong ginagawa ito para sa inyo.

"Alam niyo po bang minsan inaabot po siya ng tatlong araw para tapusin ang isang larawan lang?

"Opo. Dahil hindi po niya dinadaya ang mga larawan ninyo.

"Hindi po di-copy paste at basta-bastang tracing lang po.

"Iba’t-ibang istilo pa po ng pag drawing ang ginagawa niya.

"May mala-anime, may ala-Disney, may ala-watercolor, atbp. Ang galing.

"May kanya-kanya pa pong request iyan kung paanong itsura ang gusto nila, ha."she stressed.
