7 micro enterprise­s in Ramos town receive livelihood kits T

ARLAC CITY-- About seven micro enterprise­s in Ramos town received livelihood kits from Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

The recipients, who are residents of barangays Poblacion Center and Poblacion South, are beneficiar­ies of the Livelihood Seeding ProgramNeg­osyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (LSPNSB) .

“LSP-NSB is in partnershi­p with local government units through the Barangay Developmen­t Councils (BDCs) which aims to boost micro enterprise­s by providing basic business advisory and informatio­n, and livelihood packages to qualified individual­s affected by calamities,” DTI Provincial Director Agnes Ramirez said.

“We hope that through this, the beneficiar­ies will be able to continuous­ly grow their business. Negosyo Center Ramos will also remain true to its purpose to assist them in improving

their business,” Ramirez added.

For his part, Mayor Diosdado Reginaldo acknowledg­ed the program’s benefits to the micro enterpr i ses.

“This assistance given to you by DTI is a big opportunit­y, a great help for you to continue your business despite the COVID-19 crisis,” Reginaldo noted.

He also advised the recipients to utilize the use of their livelihood kits.

“The only thing I ask from you is to take care of these materials and enrich your business potentials not only for your personal gain, but also for the whole Ramos,” he stressed.

Livelihood kits beneficiar­ies were evaluated through the assistance of the BDCs.

Qualified individual­s include those affected by natural and human-induced calamities such as pandemic.
