One of the most common problems in our country especially in this time of pandemic situation is food brought by lack of source of income and unemployment due to lockdown. Most of the Filipinos are suffering from hunger and are starving to death. With the present situation of our country, there are so many Filipinos who are in a miserable situation due to the effect of this unexpected virus that ruin and taken the lives of so many people not only in our country but all over the world.

In this time of crisis, I remember one of the best activities done in Naulo Elementary School, Naulo, Sta. Cruz, Zambales last February 4, 2020 which was the Feeding Program , Giving of School Supplies and Tree Planting Activity from a group of active citizens and top officials from our province who are very generous and has a big heart and true concern to the young people. The activity was spearheaded by Hon. Atty. Carolyn S. Farinas together with her brother Mr. Paul Patricio Senador who is the President of PTT Phil. Foundation Inc. whose advocacy is to extend help to the young ones to inspire them to finish their studies and aim for a bright future. Some of the municipal government officials headed by Vice Mayor Kristan Rommel Misola and councilors also joined and supported the activity. It was a very successful activity as seen in the happy faces of the pupils , parents and teachers of Naulo Elementary School. The group really gave hope and inspiration to the pupils to study hard and reach for their dreams through the complete school supplies given to them. They made the pupils realized the importance of health, clean, and comfortable environment through the Feeding Program and Tree Planting activity. Luckily, there were 158 pupils and parents in our school and the 25 Day Care pupils in our barangay were benefited in the said activity. It was really a meaningful activity. Such a great way of extending and sharing of blessings to the needy.

Hoping that this kind of good work and deeds from our government officials will continue and prosper especially during this time that most of the Filipino people are crying for help and asking for relief and comfort.
