SALUTE TO THE SENIOR CITIZEN

Senior citizens are important in the society . They play great role models and are very influential. Their wisdom and knowledge can pass on to young generation. They play a major role in character building of generation coming after them.

These are the people who are usually around the corners of Naulo Elementary School who are very active in almost all of the activities of the school such as Brigada Eskwela, Gulayan sa Paaralan, Feeding Program , Nutrition Program and the like. Most of the time , they accompany their grandchildren in going to school. They serve as the guardians to most of our learners because their parents are busy and working in other places as their source of living.

Despite of their old age, they can still manage to be active and participative in every activity of the school. They always shown excitement and eagerness to help in the preparation and conduct of acivities of the school. The reason why , our school is very much grateful and appreciated the effort shown by them.

In response to the good work that they are doing in our school , the Naulo Elementary School Faculty and Staff through the initiative of yours truly , conducted Senior Citizen Seminar on their Rights and Privileges to make them knowledgeable on their rights and be aware of their importance in the community despite of their age last December 15 , 2019. An Outreach Program for them through gift giving activity is also conducted yearly every Christmas season since 2018 up to present to appreciate their contribution to the school , to make them feel and realized that they are loved , most valued and happy for without them , we will not have our present generation today.
