QUALITIES OF A GOOD ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT: ITS IMPORTANCE IN AN ORGANIZATION

The ultimate goal of every organization is to have employees with good qualities as this significantly contributes to the success of the organization.
As such, the administrator is the head of the organization responsible for the entire operation of the organization. In this sense, an administrator needs an assistant to help him/her in provisions of quality services and they are the “administrative assistants”.
Apparently, administrative assistant’s great role in the organization cannot be ignored because they have exceptional roles in accomplishing the tasks in an organization as to the achievement of its objectives towards success in organization. Specifically, in the Department of Education, Administrative Assistant (ADAS) are involve in the consolidation of reports, assists teachers to their needs, forward memoranda to schools, file and safeguard documents, submits reports in the Division Office and clerical works.
The above-mentioned are some of the exceptional roles of the administrative assistant (ADAS) that are very important in the management of the District Office in particular as well as in the Division Office of the Department of Education.
Aside from the mentioned technicalities of work descriptions of the administrative assistant, personal qualities are also highlighted such as possessing positive attitude, commitment and passion for work makes a great difference in providing quality services in the entire District in particular, to the schools where their services significantly contributes. This means that the administrative assistants have exceptional personal and professional qualities that impact their overall work performance and career advancement as well.
As an organization with excellent administrative assistant is an indicator of having a sustained and a successful organization.
