M.A.N.A.G.E.R

According to Merriam Webster, "a manager is a person who conducts business or household affairs. He is a person whose work or profession is management".

I always thought of myself as a manager in my own view. I thought of helping people achieve their dreams and be successful in life. Directing people with my positive outlook can radiate positive vibes. One of my previous mentors have inspired me by a note left in my project that caught my heart with euphoria. The message written on the note was "Influence others by your good outlook and attitude". Those words have kept me from inspiring people to be optimistic in life. Seeing them happy is very rewarding for me.

Being a manager and/or a person who is in a supervisory position takes a greater role in molding one's life in terms of mental, emotional and career growth.

What does a M.A.N.A.G.E.R must possess?

M-eticulous. A manager must have to be meticulous. He must have attention to detail because a simple mistake can drive the whole project destroyed. He must be meticulous in implementing and maintaining the team, as well.

A-ttentive. Being attentive is like being observant, too. If a manager knows what is happening around his team, he can easily respond to their needs. If he gets to know his team, he will also get to know their differences. In that case, the team can both learn and adapt what each others can do and can't do.

N-oble. A manager must possess this kind of attitude. He must always support his team in any way he could. As manager, you must be their number one supporter and motivator.

A-dmirable. Any person must have this kind of attitude and so, does the manager. This can attract the team to follow you as their model. The things that they will admire upon you will reflect them to do the same.

G-ood leader. A manager must be a good leader. A good leader is a good follower. He should be a role model exhibiting moral and ethical attitude towards the team and other people. He must influence the team to do the right things.

E-mpathic. A manager must be emphatic. He should always be considerate to the team. Being empathic focused on one's attitude rather than his status, or position. He is equal to everyone in the office.

R-espectful. Respect is the highest form of attitude that a manager must possess. Treating the team with respect at all times will lessen the pressure, misunderstanding and can create trust.
