‘Bayanihan’ amidst the pandemic

OVER the last four months, we have seen what a crisis can do to the Filipino spirit. We have always been known for our resilient nature. When we are faced with a challenge, we face it, and try to overcome is as best as we can.

When the coronavirus pandemic hit us hard, we accepted it as best we could. A lot of people experienced hardships during the first two months of the community quarantine, and thought of ways on how to help them out.

In fact, the government has been relentless in mobilizing every resource and seeking every opportunity to attain better days for our nation, during this extraordinary time.

The administration is exhausting all efforts to provide real, lasting and meaningful change for all, despite the crisis the country is facing.

In fact, the COVID-19 pandemic has strengthened the government’s resolve to improve the lives of Filipinos. And we are pretty sure that the government’s care for the entire nation would continue to be felt amid the pandemic.

In view of this, we should all help the government in its fight against Covid-19. Let’s nurture the Filipino bayanihan spirit.

The government believes that this spirit will carry our nation through, bring it back to its feet and enable it to resume its march towards progress. The government has in fact expressed confidence that the country can win against COVID-19 when the spirit of the Filipino “bayanihan” or teamwork thrives.

The nation should look forward to the future with “hope and positivity,” for the country’s recovery from this pandemic. Let us be our government’s partner for change in an effort to bring progress and development to the country.
