DOORS OF CHANCES

-

“The door of opportunity is always open, but nobody bothers to push the door open. They just get tired out by knocking and then they leave.” Debasish Mridha. We work for us to support our family.

In the teaching battle, we constantly feel that our life seems so stagnant, it is like saying we have status quo where opportunity for promotion and salary increase is so slow.

We keep making ourselves slaves negativity that we are being blinded. We always put ourselves boxed up in our own comfort zones that when one door of opportunity has been opened up, we see it as additional burden for us. When our school heads, our Head Teachers or Supervisors had given us extra work, we take them as if they are making it hard for us.

We sometimes fail to see that these are opportunities n disguise. The way to leadership is not all ways about bed of roses. It calls for self-acceptance and servant leadership. We focus more comforts and conveniences that we do not want to experience satisfaction after fulfilling a difficult or a different task.

Performance in teaching is not just about having a score of 5 in our RPMs, it is something that is beyond these standards. We only need to practice LISTENING with the EAR of our hEARt once in awhile for us to see that There is Time for Everything. Even that Dream of Changes we all wanted will be given to us soon in God’s on time.

While waiting for that time, let us prepare ourselves by practicing the mantra… .”teachers helping Teachers,” so that it may motivate us to see the positivity, the chances of positive transformation in us. The more we see negativity, the heavier our load will be.

Ora et Labora… .Let us work with a prayer. Let us invite God’s presence in our work so we can fulfil our mission lightly and with a forgiving heart.
