Police regional office recognizes exemplary cops in Central Luzon
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – The Police Regional Office III (PRO-3) recognized Thursday exemplary cops in Central Luzon.
The ceremony is in line with the 119th Police Service Anniversary which carried the theme “Towards a PandemicResilient PNP: Adopting Protective Protocols in the New Normal.”
“The theme aptly manifests the Philippine National Police’s flexibility to cope with the prevailing situation of the country in terms of law enforcement towards a stable peace and order,” Police Regional Director PBGen. Rhodel Sermonia sai d .
Individual awardees include PCol. Eric Noble as Best Senior Police Commissioned Officer for Administration, PCol. K Tampis as Best Senior Police Commissioned Officer for Operations, PMaj. Zyrah Joy Cabal as Best Junior Police Commissioned Officer for Administration, PLtCol. Henry Bruno as Best Junior Police Commissioned Officer for Operations, and PSMs. Renato Robles as Best Senior Police Non-Commissioned Officer for Administration.
Also, PMSg. Arnel DV Agliam as Best Senior Police Non-Commissioned Officer for Operations, PCpl. Queen-Lee Torrecampo as Best Junior
Police Non-Commissioned Officer for Administration, PSSg . Catherine Joy Corpuz as Best Junior Police NonCommissioned Officer for Operations, NUP Josephine Sevilla as Best Non-Uniformed Personnel (Supervisory Level) and NUP Alenea May S Furio - Best Non-Uniformed Personnel (NonSupervisory Level).
Meanwhile, Sermonia was recognized by the national police leadership for his responsive programs on peace and order relative to productivity and resiliency that mitigated the effect of COVID-19 in Central Luzon.
“This recognition is not only for me but for the men and women of PRO3 who have been working tirelessly to fulfill our commitment of fighting criminality in the region as well as containing the widespread of COVID-19 while at the same time alleviating the lives of our fellowmen in Central Luzon by providing them food this pandemic,” Sermonia sai d.

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) continues to mentor micro, small and medium enterprises in Central Luzon amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
DTI Regional Director Judith Angeles said the Kapatid Mentor Micro Entrepreneurs (KMME) and Money Market Encounter (MME) are still being implemented in partnership with Go Negosyo/ Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship headed by Presidential Adviser Joey Concepcion.
“The first batch this year composed of 42 mentees is set to finish soon the 12module course,” she disclosed.
Relative to this, DTI is still inviting micro entrepreneurs to apply as a prospective mentee of the KMME program for its second batch run this year.
Applicants must at least be of legal age, must have at least one year of operation as a business entity and must be willing to commit to faithfully attend the weekly sessions of the course.
“At the end of the course, the mentees must also prepare and present a Business Improvement Plan which will be assessed by a panel of experts for implementation by the KMME mentees. During the Business Improvement Plan implementation, DTI will continue to monitor and assess the mentee on how effective their plan is,” Angeles explained.
KMME is a holistic program that is meant to capacitate entrepreneurs not only in terms of efficiently producing their products but also in terms of being coached in areas like human resources, marketing, costing, taxation, entrepreneurial mindset and other aspects of entrepreneurship.
Meanwhile, MME is an online interaction and learning program wherein experts and leaders of financial institutions meet KMME graduates to assist and mentor them in terms of financial management. (Carlo Lorenzo J. Datu/ PIA 3)
