In an initial report submitted to PDEA Director General Wilkins M. Villanueva, PDEA -3 Director Christian O Frivaldo disclosed that operating teams recovered different types of suspected controlled precursors and essential chemicals (substances used in the preparation of shabu) and assorted laboratory equipment .
Frivaldo identified the suspect as Joven A. Salvador aka Venjo (caretaker of the establishment), male, 36 years old, and a resident of
Barangay Cawag, Subic.
“Based on the initial assessment of the PDEA-3 laboratory section chief, the dismantled laboratory can produce at least a kilo of shabu per day”, Frivaldo added.
Confiscated pieces of evidence will be turned over to PDEA-3 laboratory for qualitative examination.
A charge for violation of Section 8 (manufacturing of dangerous drugs and/ or controlled precursors and essential chemicals) will be filed against the suspect.
