Imagining lessons without art, drawings and colorful images, what will you feel? Art is everything around us that makes world of teaching and learning colorful. Teaching especially children loves drawings, colors and artworks. A visual learner makes joyful to see printed art in the lesson, audio-visual learners enjoys listening to the steps in drawing and kinesthetic learners that are enthusiast to apply sketching, drawing and coloring.

Everyone has its own strategies in life as in teaching. Teachers have their unique and own strategies, teachers’ strategy that cannot be compared to each other. They are also different teaching strategies that can read in the book and applicable in the classroom set-up. There are also teaching strategies that can apply depend on the situation. But art has a big part of teaching.

Arts can always integrate in all subjects. Integrating arts like elements and principles that can very useful in teaching and learning process. Elements of art like line, shape, value, form, space, and texture. And principles of art like balance, emphasis, contrast, proportion, pattern, variety, unity, rhythm and movement, value, and repetition an effective strategy in teaching. It is not encouraged to use all the elements and principles of art in teaching. Art is flexible and expressive. A teacher may express their teaching lesson through art. Arts makes student more motivated to learn, they are more eager to participate in different activities and they will always do their performance-output. This makes students more cooperative and feels enjoyment.

All teachers do everything as they work beyond their duties for the betterment “for the country, for the learners”. Also, they try their best to draw as an artist or in simple drawing. As a Mapeh teacher encouraging dear teachers to integrate art in teaching most to makes learner more motivated, attentive and makes enjoyable lessons that makes teaching easy.
