Roles and Responsibility of the Parents in the New Normal

Parents take a huge role in the growth and development of their kids. In the new normal, the following are the roles and responsibilities of the parents in the learning progress of their children.
Protector and Provider. Parents are directly responsible for the learning and welfare of their kids. They need to make sure that their kids are safe and healthy.
Assistant/ Facilitator. In this trying time, parents must assist and facilitate the learning of their kids. They will help them understand the lesson and will do their best to teach them.
Role model. Parents should be a good role model for their kids showing and teaching them the right thing to do.
Engager. Parents should make sure that their kids have a good interaction with them and kids will engage more in self-learning and skills enhancement.
Nourisher. Parents should nourish the gift, talent, and skills of their kids even if they are just staying at home.
Teacher. Parents should be the teacher of their kids especially if the kid is having a hard time understanding the module or lesson. They should also assess and monitor the progress of their kids.
Supporter. Parents should be the number one supporter of their kids. Whatever course their kids may take, they should always be on their side supporting them.
