A student’s life is never easy. It takes a lot of discipline to be on top of the class. Studying lessons at home is a habit and a lot of adjustments in social life must be followed. But there are life hacks to achieve a student’s dream of becoming the top of the class. A journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step. To pursue your goal, these life hacks are your stepping stones.

First, set your priorities. If you must prioritize studying your lesson or the next day’s exam or if you have to do an extensive research to do by all means. Avoid doing unnecessary things that might rob you of your focus. As much as possible, do away with television, social media, mobile games, or anything that might distract you. Once you’re distracted, sometimes, it’s hard t regain your focus. Inform as well your parents about your exam schedules so they won’t let you do laborious household chores.

Second, get organized. It pays a lot to keep your things in place. Part of being a student is to be associated with paper and to have plenty of paper work. Is your bag a complete mess? Practice orderliness. Assign a place for everything. Keep your test papers in an envelope for you might never know when you need them again. Have a folder for assignments/reports and label it “Done” and another folder for “To do”. Submit neat and presentable projects or reports and make yourself proud. This is useful preparation in getting good grades.

Third, manage your time wisely. To begin with, since you are still a student, you have a luxury of time and the will to use it in whatever way possible. You can flip you notes in the library during your break time. Since time is strictly a personal choice, different people have different time frames when their minds are active. Exercise your choice. Your key is find a suitable time for studying and stick to it.

Further, the following hacks are really helpful and proven effective. Read a lot, keep a record of submission dates, take down notes, be active in class, do more and go the extra mile, test yourself, and study together.

With these tips, you can achieve your dream to be on top of the class. However, these study hacks must always be coupled with consistency.
