How has computing education changed over the last few months? And how will the corona virus pandemic affect education in the long term?

As we start to figure out what post- lockdown world might look like, the only thing that feels certain is we are facing a long period of disruption to formal education. We need to find new ways to combine online learning, remote teaching, mentoring, and non- formal learning experiences, to ensure that all young people, whatever their backgrounds, are able to achieve and fulfil their potential.

" Covid 19 as a pandemic brought a big wave of changes and challenges in life and one of the aspects that is mostly affected is education. People from all walks of life are used to the traditional way of delivering education, which is face to face, yet this will change due to the current situation. From traditional, education administrators varying from both public and private institution were force to move in the digital world and maximizing the use of all modes of alternative education. Many people got their concerns for these unpopular modes of education yet, they also are aware of the importance of education. As a teacher, I also tend to see that the delivery of education will be quite challenging as compared to the former school years. However, as education promises a better life for the students by providing them the essential skills, they would be needing for their future career path, we as teachers should push ourselves to help these students to achieve their goals. The pandemic, although has a negative connotation, could show as teachers a way to improve ourselves and rise to various challenges that we may encounter in our journey as teachers. We teachers could also learn from this situation and make sure that we build our resiliency amidst the pandemic.
