The present situation brought big adjustments to the whole nation – affecting the government, its economy, more individuals and even in the field of education. However, the Department of Education does its part to continually provide quality education by any means. This pandemic should not sacrifice the education of our learners but continue to deliver and provide equal opportunities most especially to the marginalized and vulnerable sectors. It is a one-size-fits all solution, but one that is dependent on the needs of each learning community.

The education of the youth should not be left behind. In any modalities that they may embrace just to continue the education which embedded by the community of learnings. It is a big challenge on the part of the Department of Education to surpass this huge stones to roll out. Different approaches have been crafted from the top calibers and experts in education have been established to figure out the new normal in education.

Effective programs have been made to respond to this need in education. There were webinars being conducted to facilitate learning in an online classes. Teachers were trained to these webinars so that they will know what to do, why to do it and how to do it. Google classroom was introduced, google drive, google sheets, zoom, google meet and other technology based instruction battled and cultivated our minds and skills so that teachers may keep up to this changing world of education.

Indeed, pandemic have interrupted the classroom teaching and learning process that teachers and students interact each other. This traditional way of learning could be set aside for a while because the new one has come and must be bear with this changes and imagining a new forms of education may open doors for more evenhanded quality education for all young Filipinos.

Everyone is shocked, no one is prepared, no one expects that this new normal will come soon as we cuddle and clasp the ALL new in education.

There must be a transformation from the old way of teaching to the new one. It may not be as easy as we use to do but with determination and passion in teaching, I believe that teachers and students can actually perform well and accomplish much more than they can imagine because the Department of Education is doing the most and best resources and programs so that its vision and mission will continue to light up our way to success.
