The Education's FRONTLINERS
The COVID-19 pandemic is definitely a major health issue that greatly affected the lives of the many. Disruption has been felt not only in the normal daily lives of the people but greatly felt its tremor and intensity in the education system.
The covid 19 intensifies the dilemma in the opening of classes this school year, limiting the face to face contact to save lives and keep schools open in the unconventional way or as the new normal way is a great challenge. Education should be our top priority; it should continue and cannot be delay. To address this scenario, the DEPED Division of Pampanga launches the LCP to give light and pave the way to deliver and continue education amidst the pandemic.
The teachers, as the facilitators of learning are considered the FRONTLINERS in the education system. They are task to deliver, execute and perform their roles in delivering the lessons and activities to school children in the best possible new normal way through the help of Learning Continuity Plan. Delivering the lessons and ensuring quality education in the covid 19 age is a great challenge to the FRONTLINERS in Education, one is the mode of learning modality to use, the learners and parents who are still undecided to pursue their education in the pandemic age and how the teachers will persuade them, the availability of the materials, gadgets and internet connectivity for teachers to use in this pandemic as face to face contact is limited. The grueling effect of the pandemic to the opening of classes is expected, major adjustments, hardship and confusion may arise, but through the help and guidance of our teacher’s implementation of LCP will address the problems in schools, school children, parents and other stakeholders. It is in the hands of our teachers as FRONTLINERS through the support and cooperation of parents, pupils and community the success of LCP.
