"Well that is a welcome development from the businessman's point of view and the Pampanga Chamber of Commerce naghahanap din ng paraan para makumbinse ang mga investors natin, ang mga kasamahan natin sa business sector na kung pwede ay tumulong sila sa pag recover natin," the business leader said.

While it is true that the threat of the COVID 19 still exists, Romero said that airlines are instituting measures with the use of technology to protect their passengers.

"It's a welcome development but of course ayaw din naman natin na mapabayaan ang kalusugan ng mga magiging pasahero nila," the PamCham official added.

Tourism, transport, agriculture and business were severely affected by the global health problem, according to Romer o.

Scientists and physicians have yet to develop the cure and vaccine for COVID 19, Romero said.

SAN SIMON - Public and private cemeteries in this town will be temporarily closed starting October 1 to November 2.

Mayor Abundio Punsalan, Jr. signed Executive Order No. 38 S. 2020 ahead of All Saints' and Souls' Days where influx of people is expected in cemeteries.

Under

the

EO, barangay officials with cemeteries in their jurisdiction, as well as local police, and the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office will guard all cemeteries to ensure public's compliance.

Punsalan said the move is part of the local government's program to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in the community.

He said quick transmission of the virus might occur if traditional way of observing Undas at memorial parks will be allowed.

"We value the tradition of most Filipinos observing of Undas as a way of remembering our departed loved ones but in this time of pandemic, we cannot risk the health of the people," the mayor explained.

He urged Simonians to honor their departed loved ones at their respective homes instead until the pandemic is over.

"We can light candles, offer flowers or say our prayers in our homes for the meantime. For now, the safety of the people is our top priority," Punsalan said.

Qatar Airways on the other hand will increase their Doha-Clark-Doha flights to nine times per week by adding a Sunday and doubling their Monday and Friday flights.
