Anchored on the belief that successful learning is the result of an excellent and relevant instruction. Indeed, teaching is among the noblest profession as it is not only viewed as a mere job or work but a vocation, a mission every educator is called for to fulfill.

For centuries, the teacher is perceived to be a fountain of information and knowledge and are being regarded with highest respect in society. This statement could still be observed in the present time. The respect of the community could still be felt by every mentor. Hence, the influences of teachers in the lives of their learners is so significant that these results to their transformation. From the basic skills of reading, writing and arithmetic that the teachers developed to the more complexed skills of making a book report, calculating a complexed equation to writing of various literary artworks, the teachers selfless service is beyond measure.

Since every educator believes in the power of education in transforming the lives of the youth for a more productive future. They do not only develop the cognitive or intellectual aspect of the young, but likewise, the affective and psychomotor aspects of every learner. Hence, in all the lessons they design, integration of values and other concepts across disciplines is very evident. Thus, holistic the development of every learner is ensured through a well-prepared lesson plan. Aside from which, the influence of a teacher doesn’t only end there, as he could still wear various hats for his learners. In some instances, a teacher could still assume the function of a friend, a second parent, clown, an actor, a counselor, adviser, a trainer, a defender and the likes. Indeed, the influence of every teacher to his learners is beyond the simple delivery of class instruction as every teacher go extra miles to provide selfless service and love to all the learners under his care.

Although system of education may have evolved, reformed and transformed in the past few decades, still, the influence of the community, especially to the learners have remained constant. Today, teachers are still regarded with high respects and teaching is still believed to be one amongst the noblest professions because the outcomes or result of this well accomplished mission is a transformed life and an ensured future for the benefit of he individual and the country, as well. As an educator, I believe in my purpose as I am called to hone the skills and characters of individuals and make them well-prepared for the future.
