8 Ways to Build Strong Teacher Relationships with Colleagues
Jocelyn S. Buan
You can explore how to get better off with others. The main attributes are essential to develop: 1.Have a high regard for the feelings, wishes, rights, or traditions of others. You will display respect by being respectful and considerate to others. Respect is something that all people need. Learn to accept the views of others. They may be different from yours, but they are just as significant to others as they are to you.
2.Confidence and Sincerity. Confidence is growing as a partnership progresses. Of course, you don't trust everyone in the same way or to the same degree, but trust is an essential part of any relationship. Honesty is a matter of faith. If you want people to believe you, you have to be honest with them.
3.Acceptance. People who get along very well with others consider others as they are, their differences and their flaws.
4.W illingness to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset. No one is perfect. Being gentle with someone else's behaviors and shortcomings can eliminate disputes and disagreements that they can use.
5.Sympathetically aware of other people's feelings. Try to see from the eyes of the other person. It's easy to get wrapped up in your own way of looking at things, and forget there's another angle.
6.Willingness to communicate. Communication lets the other person know what you need, what you want, and what you feel. It will clear the air, and stop potential issues.
7.Willingness to compromise. If two people have compromised, each of them gives up a little of what he / she needs to come to an agreement. Suppose you want to spend the afternoon attending to seminar, but your buddy wants to go to the mall to buy groceries. If the mall isn't too far away, you might be able to get to the seminar room in a while and then fire the baskets. Another option would be to do what your friend wants this time but promise that the next time you get together; you'll pick the activity.
8.Having or showing the faculty of humor. A sense of humor, particularly about yourself, can make people laugh and can also ease an embarrassing or tense situation.
