Grab it, Share it, Own it!

They say education is a right. Some say it is a privilege. For me education is both a right and privilege. It is essential in our lives. That’s why if you have given the opportunity to study, grab it, don’t waste the chance of learning new things that will benefit you and can prepare you for the future. To students, who are studying, especially now, classes are being conducted in a synchronous and asynchronous way. Your teacher might not see you throughout the discussion, but it’s all up to you if you are listening well as your teacher presents and discuss the lesson through virtual class. Your teacher does not know if you really did your assignment or you let your siblings and/or parents do it for you. It is your choice to learn or not. Again, education is a privilege, so grab it.

Education is a right, but not all was given the chance to claim that right. Once you have given the opportunity to education, and you were able to finish, don’t just keep it to yourself. Share and impart the knowledge and skill you have. Imparting knowledge is not just the duty of teachers Everybody can share and impart knowledge and skill to others, and help others grow, too. Do not be selfish and conceited. I know some people, the more knowledgeable they are, the more they become conceited, selfish and subtle. W e were given the chance to education that we may be a channel of service to others in different ways, share your knowledge.

A person who value his/her education, do not just grab every chance of learning, he/she also shares the knowledge he or she gained. Owning what you’ve learned doesn’t meant being selfish. Owning your education meant valuing it by not letting others steal it from you. There is a saying, “the only treasure that a parent can pass and leave to their children is education.” One who values the gift they received is by taking care of it. Education is a right, a privilege, but I realized that education is much more than that, it is a gift, a priceless gift from God. Treasure that gift and do not let others steal it from you. By treasuring it also, you let your knowledge grow more by reading a lot of books, articles, laws, journals ad by listening to others as well.

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." -Nelson Mandela. Grab the opportunity to learn. Share what you have learned. And own your education. --oOo-
