Arayat exec offers P200K for info on missing staff
BACOLOR - The provincial government, under the leadership of Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, recently distributed financial aid to Capitol scholars under the Educational Financial Assistance Program ( EFAP) .
Some 472 students received financial grants worth P 3,000 during a simple ceremony.
Of the beneficiaries, 133 are from Mabalacat City; 97- Magalang; 113Sta. Ana, and 109 in Bacolor town.
Jasmine Cordero, officer in charge (OIC) of the provincial library said, the activity is a manifestation of the administration’s commitment to provide accessible education to Kapampangan students amid the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemi c.

ARAYAT - More than a month since she was abducted, 40-year-old Catherine Tan is yet to be located and be reunited again with her family.
Vice Mayor Sixto "Pogi" Mallari Jr. said Tan, who served as his staff for more than two years prior to her abduction, remains missing as of Thursday morning.
"Until now, nangungulila pa rin ang kanyang pamilya, at kaming pamilya niya dito sa Vice Mayor's Office. Nangangamba pa rin kami kung nasaan siya at ano ang kalagayan niya," he sai d.
Tan went missing morning of August 12 and witnesses said that she was forcefully taken by armed men onboard a white van in Barangay Cupang here while she was on her way to work.
As of Thursday, Mallari said police investigation remains unfruitful as identification of abductors or any possible lead about the case.
Due to this, the vice mayor has offerred a P200,000 reward for any information that could lead to the location of Tan.
"Gusto nalang namin na makita siya, kahit hindi na muna mahuli yung mga suspect. Importante makita siya ng mga anak niya kasi siya nalang ang natitirang magulang ng mga bata," he sai d.

“Napakahirap lang po kasi noong nagkaroon ng pandemic nawalan po ako ng trabaho sa part time job ko kaya sobrang laking tulong po itong ibinigay ni Governor Delta sa amin. Kahit may pandemya hindi po niya kami pinabayaan,” Rajencia said.
Despite her condition, Rajencia is optimistic that PWDs can succeed in life with proper determination and confidence in themselves.
Meanwhile, Bacolor Mayor Diman Datu hailed students who were born with impairment like Rajencia.
“Kayo po ang idolo at inspirasyon ng bawat estudyante sa aming mga nanunungkulan,” he said.
Datu also thanked the provincial government for its continuous support to his constituents.
