DepEd thankful for everyone’s efforts towards school opening

The Department of Education (DepEd) has expressed gratitude to various stakeholders, as well as students and schools nationwide, for helping the department as the opening of classes approach.
The DepEd recognizes all the people, groups and organizations involved in making sure that education will be delivered to the learners starting Oct. 5 of this year.
Youth leaders in other areas have been assisting fellow students towards the transition to the “new normal”. Their efforts to assist learners are indeed worthy of commendation.
Imagine youth leaders have spearheaded several donation drives to help fellow learners in their education, by distributing school supplies and hygiene kits, amidst the pandemic.
What more, they will be uploading online tutorial videos about certain topics in their lessons, as well as sharing learning materials like e-books and PDF files that can help them in the distance learning.
Another student is urging the use of “SciHigh on the Net”, which aims to connect more with schoolmates.
According to the DepEd, institutions have a responsibility to provide inclusive quality learning. The students’ roles, meanwhile, is to learn.
These student leaders have gone out of their way to help connect institutions and students.
The DepEd, of course, continues to cite all the stakeholders – students, parents, teachers, and school leaders – who continue to support DepEd’s Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan (BE-LCP).
The department’s real job is to prepare the youth for their future, the DepEd said. If the mind is ready, then they will also be ready for their future.
