My Second Home

To stay or not to stay? To file resignation or not? These questions are just some of what I heard from an employee. I guess that employee is doubtful whether to continue his or her life in the company he or she belongs.
Do you have the same thoughts as the employee? Did it ever come to your mind to give up your work for reasons? Why does an employee leave even in these trying times? I guess there is more than just a piece of payslip to this.
A heathy working environment is the very reason why employees stay in a company. Most of the times, even if the compensation does not meet their standards, they do not leave because a heathy workplace is rare. W hat makes it rare? Here are my points.
A healthy workplace builds relationship more than competition. It a place where strangers turned to friends, and where leaders turned to be inspirations. It is composed of employees who do not talk about each other’s issues. It is a company where you can be with others without any form of malice.
A healthy workplace values ability more than names or dynasty. It is a place where everything is fair. There are no political issues involve nor selfish interest. This company is willing to open all promotions to all capable employees without any hesitation.
A healthy workplace recognizes effort more than identifying employees’ shortcomings. This company has more time to see the good rather than being a fault finder. This company appreciates even your smallest contribution and recognizes your effort. It is a workplace which rewards you.
A healthy workplace encourages you to ‘work smart’ rather than to ‘work hard’. There is thin line that makes these two different. Choose your weapon wisely.
And lastly, a healthy workplace influences you to be a better version of yourself. It allows you to grow more than just an employee. This company allows you to grow on your becomingness. This company sometimes teaches you the hard way, yet it could be the way for you to achieve the version you want. This company will not ruin you but will build you holistically.
High compensation is just a bonus. Employees stay because their hearts already found a second home. Did you find yours? If not, go and search for it.
